Spring In-House Registration

Spring In-House League

Hello Families!

Our Spring Rec season is just around the corner! Registration in now open for our In-House league! We have limited spots available for each age group, so, please register early.

Please see below for details regarding registration and schedule.

  • Start Date – Week of March 6th (Friday Practice – Saturday Scrimmage) 
  • End Date – May 27 
  • 10 Week Program – No Game/Practice Spring Break & Easter weekend
  • 20 ice sessions total 

Ages Groups: Practice Times

  • 6U – Friday 5-6
  • 8U – Friday 6-7
  • 10U – Friday 7:10-8:10

Depending on the size of our groups this Spring, we may offer additional practice times on Thursday (4-5) for 6U and Thursday 5:10-6:10 for our 8U. If this is offered, you will only be permitted one practice per week.

The first week of the season will be used to create even teams.

The second week jerseys will be handed out, and games will begin. (Jerseys are included)

  • Player Cost: $570 Plus Tax (Payment Plan available)
  • Goalies – Email ben@powerpolearena.com for registration

Practices will be held every Friday. Games will be held of Saturday.

(Times will be provided prior to start of the season)

Wednesday - Power Skate

Coach Hugo Power Skate

Hi Families,

Coach Hugo Belanger will be hosting Power Skating Clinics at Power-Pole Arena on Wednesdays!

Time: 5:10-6:10pm

When – Wednesday, (January 25) (Feb 8,15,22) (March 1)

Cost: $135 (5 Clinics total)

Ages: 7-12

Coach Hugo’s Bio:

Hugo born May 28, 1970 and is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey forward. He was selected in the 8th round (163rd overall) in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks and went on to play 15 seasons in hockey’s minor leagues.

Belanger was named the Most Valuable Player four times in his UHL career, as well as the MVP of the ECHL in 1996 and the MVP of the WCHL. Belanger played a total of 1011 games in his minor league hockey career, totaling 1465 points (518 goals and 947 assists). That point total is the most scored by any player since 1980 and the fifth highest total of all-time



Power Pole Arena

 

Power Pole Arena,  is committed to developing youth hockey at all levels by offering reasonable pricing for top notch instruction, introducing hockey and supplying equipment to children who normally would not have the opportunity to play. Power Pole also provides mentoring by professionals that have reached the highest level of their sport.

​Power Pole Arena is now under new ownership and has transformed into so much more. Still with its original idea to provide “Xtra” ice time for those individuals or teams that need it, but also providing a place for children 18 years and younger the opportunity to play hockey, who would not normally have the ability to do so.

​Power Pole arena is a 140’ x 65’ micro rink located in Tampa, Florida exactly 3 miles northwest of Raymond James Stadium. Power Pole has served as the home training rink to three USA Hockey National Champions and supports team practices and events for all high school and local travel teams that would like Xtra ice time as well.
